Photography for People, Pets, Places & Life's Unforgettable Moments.

With over 30 years of photography experience, I have dedicated my life to capturing moments that tell meaningful stories. My work spans a wide range of photography, including portraits, events, real estate, and pet photography, with every image carefully edited using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to ensure the highest quality.

Photography has always been more than simply taking pictures—it's about creating authentic connections and preserving moments that matter. I draw inspiration from cinema, art, and literature, using light, composition, and storytelling to create images with depth, atmosphere, and emotion.

Alongside my professional work, I volunteer as the photographer for my local Junior Parkrun, capturing the energy, determination, and achievements of young runners each weekend. Every photograph is professionally edited before being shared on their social media channels, allowing me to support a fantastic community initiative while continuing to develop my documentary and event photography skills.

Known for being approachable, reliable, and flexible, I aim to make every client feel comfortable in front of the camera. Whether photographing a family pet, a portrait session, a special event, or showcasing a property, my goal is always the same—to create natural, timeless images that tell your story.

Based in East Lancashire and originally from Manchester, I'm continually expanding my portfolio and developing my expertise in real estate photography. My passion for photography began as a youngster studying the artwork on record sleeves, and that fascination with visual storytelling has stayed with me ever since. Away from the camera, I enjoy playing the ukulele and exploring the countryside with my camera and dog.

Sustainability is also an important part of how I work. Wherever possible, I minimise my environmental impact by travelling by train, reducing unnecessary journeys, and choosing recycled or environmentally responsible materials. I believe great photography should not only leave a lasting impression but also tread as lightly as possible on the world around us.

"Photography for me is not looking, it's feeling. If you can't feel what you're looking at, then you're never going to get others to feel anything." Don McCullin
