"You don't take a photograph, you make it." Ansell Adams
Pet Portraiture
Every pet has a story worth capturing.
Whether it's an energetic puppy charging through woodland, an older companion enjoying a gentle stroll, or a nervous rescue who feels safest at home, my aim is to create relaxed, natural portraits that reflect your pet's personality.
My signature Woodland Project uses beautiful natural locations around Lancashire to create timeless images with soft light and stunning scenery. For pets (or owners) where woodland walks aren't practical, I also offer accessible locations and home visits where suitable, ensuring every pet has the opportunity to be photographed comfortably.

Your session is designed to be relaxed and enjoyable for both you and your pet.
There's no pressure for perfect behaviourβwe work at your pet's pace.
We'll spend time walking, playing and allowing natural moments to happen. If your dog needs breaks, treats or a game of fetch, that's all part of the experience.
The result is genuine, character-filled photographs rather than forced poses.

Absolutely.
Many pets are naturally shy or easily distracted. I work patiently and never rush a session.
We'll choose a suitable location with plenty of space, allowing your pet to relax and feel comfortable before we begin photographing.
Please let me know about any behavioural or medical considerations before the session so I can plan accordingly.

Because most sessions take place outdoors, your pet's comfort and safety always come first.
If the weather is particularly poor, we'll simply rearrange your session at no additional cost.
Overcast days actually provide some of the most flattering light for pet photography.
